The Chickens are Back and Looking for Revenge

Chicken Invaders 3 offers gamers the same basic concept as the other games in this series. Chickens from another planet are invading Earth and players have to destroy the chickens before they land and take over. The game features a few unique twists to keep things interesting. Read on to discover if this game offers enough variety to make it worth checking out.

The alien chickens are seeking their revenge for centuries of being eaten and abused. Players zip through the galaxy to blast these plucky warriors back to where they came from and save the day. There are twelve galaxies to explore, and in addition to firing at the evil chickens there are plenty of obstacles to avoid such as eggs and asteroids, while players can score points by collecting items such as chicken burgers and drumsticks.

Players have the choice of seven upgradeable weapons, and more options for these weapons are presented as they progress through the game. There are also seven special secrets to unlock, and discovering these secrets and finding out how to use them is part of the challenge.

Chicken Invaders 3 provides hours of engaging gameplay to enjoy. Although the game itself is pretty simple, each of the 120 waves is more challenging than the last and is sure to keep players on their toes. As an added bonus, every few waves a chicken boss comes into action. This boss can be rather tough to defeat, posing an extra level of difficulty that is great for people who are starting to feel like the game is a bit too easy.

One of the only drawbacks with the game is that it is not possible to change the difficulty setting. Most players will probably find that the pace and difficulty are pretty well matched to the game. However, people who are having trouble defeating the boss and making their way to the next wave will not have the option to make things easier.

Another problem is that the game can get rather repetitive. Each of the waves is fairly similar to the last, with the only main difference being that it is a bit tougher. However, the game is very addictive and players are sure to be hooked on the madcap shooting action. There is a lot to focus on, and the fact that the weapons can be upgraded up to eleven times each means that players who are struggling to fry the cheeky chickens will want to keep on playing so that they can upgrade and get more firepower.

There are also plenty of laughs along the way to keep players entertained. The sense of humour of this game is as weird and wacky as the concept itself and is designed to appeal to players of all ages. The simple controls are a real bonus, as it takes almost no time at all to get to know them. Instead, players can launch straight into the game and get on with the chicken-shooting fun and watch as the feathers fly.

Fans of classic arcade games such as Space Invaders will be touched by plenty of nostalgia as they play this game. Although the concept is rather simple, the fast pace of the game and great graphics are sure to keep gamers engaged and provide plenty of clicking fun.
